Spending a good chunk of my time in Python, Django, and Postgres. I use Polars to build baseball analytics and forecasting models

I'm spending more time working in Go, building a simulation game. I've really fallen love with the language and working on games. It's re-structured how I think about building software. The game is still in its infancy but will talk about it publicly when we have something to show.

I'm following Cal Newport's Digital Minimalism framework to reshape my relationship with technology.

Media consumption is still a challenge for me. I was doing well for a while but it's been very hard to break the habit. I've adopted Cal Newport's time block planning which has helped keep media consumption outside my work day. I hope to have better news in my next update.

I've been working with professional trainers to help train my two wonderful, fun loving dogs. It's been a lot of work, but very rewarding and my relationship with them has grown immensely in a short amount of time.
